Well, we just had to meet Weasel as soon as we saw him on the cover of this lovely book.
The title makes you wonder why Weasel is worried. He's just walking in the countryside, having a normal day & collecting leaves. When the weather suddenly changed, Weasel had to figure out what to do. First he was soaked by rain & the wind went crazy.
Weasel tried to a make a shelter for himself but things didn't go quite right. How can he escape from the bad weather? He was SO worried & tried to build a wall but would that be any good? The wind was too strong so he had to do something else.
He was quite comfy & warm inside by himself but when Mole showed up, Weasel was a bit surprised. They talked about things that worried Weasel & Mole helped him see things from a different angle. A wonderful adventure through friendship & talking about your emotions.
The scale & style of the illustrations are fantastic, making us want to keep looking through again & again. Anderson (5) loved Mole's funny 'scary face' he made (just in case) ready to scare away a fox!
